Frequently Asked Questions

What is the rake?
On 6 and 10 seat tables Littlewoods Poker will take 5% from every pot over £5, up to a maximum of a £3 rake. We also operate a No Flop - No Drop policy; we do not take any rake from hands that do not reach the flop.

What is the minimum buy-in?
The minimum is based on 10 times the small bet limit. For example, you need £100 to enter a £10/20 game, £50 to enter a £5/10 game and £30 to enter a £3/6 game.

How do I see which games are available?
When the lobby opens, you will see the table list for Texas Hold'em, 7-Card Stud etc. Select the desired game type and that table list will be displayed in the menu box.

How can I locate a player?
Locate your friend from the list in the right hand table information box in the lobby.

How does the waiting list work?
If the table you want to play at is full, you can join the waiting list from the lobby.

How do I open a table from the lobby?
Double click on an available table from the lobby, or click on an available table and then click the Watch button.

Can I sit down at an empty table?
Why not? It seems to be that once somebody sits at an empty table, others soon follow. You probably will not have much of a wait to start playing.

What does Avg/Pot and Plrs/4th mean in the table?
Avg/Pot represents the rolling 30-hand average pot. Plrs/4th is shown as a number representing the average number of players that are in the hand for the Flop.

What do I need to play Littlewoods Poker?
Littlewoods Poker runs on any Windows-based PC system (Windows XP/2000/98/95/NT and Windows 3.1/3.11). Currently, there is not a version available for the Macintosh, Solaris, Linux, OS/2, or any other operating system.
